Over six years ago, an old friend of Zack's introduced him to Building A Better _____, a record by a band from the Midwest named Park that stands the test of time as one of the best emo albums we've ever heard.
Around a year ago, Bad Timing Records asked, very nervously, to be a part of the next Park release that would stand the test of time: the Jacob The Rabbit EP. The three-song concept EP not only reignites the band’s career, welcoming them back to life after eight dormant years, but also shows why we’ve been missing them since their last active days in 2006.
It’s been an incredible pleasure to work on this release with the band, and we hope that long-time Park fans and listeners new to the band alike will embrace the celebration of their newest work with us.
You can pick up a copy of the 10” EP on vinyl here–it features a screen-printed B-side and an accompanying 7” booklet that houses the short story which serves as the concept for the release. Written by Ladd Mitchell, the story and EP are a prologue to an LP that the band is currently working on. Digital downloads of the release can be found at Park’s Bandcamp page here.
As always, thank you for your support of the band and the label. We hope you enjoy Jacob The Rabbit as much as we do.
