The first time Real Friends clicked with me was with the release of Three Songs About The Past Year Of My Life. I remember clicking play on the EP in November of 2012 on a night that was clearly the start of winter. Tonight feels like a similar night.
Bad Timing Records is happy to announce BTR-014, the first ever pressing of Real Friends' Three Songs About The Past Year Of My Life. Timing is everything, and that's why his 7" will be released on November 6th, the two year anniversary of the three-song EP.

From Kyle Fasel:
These three songs hold a very close place in our hearts. We released these songs in 2012. That was probably the most important year for our band. In that year we grew so much in many ways. These songs were a turning point for us back then. The subject matter of these songs were our emotionally deepest at the time. The songs deal with loved ones leaving, finding yourself and anger. These songs still and always will hold a special place in out hearts. I remember releasing these songs as a surprise. We didn't tell anyone about us recording them or anything. And then one day, boom, we just posted them online. The way we released the songs was one of my favorite things we have ever done. At the time we didn't have the means to press any vinyl. And now two years later we find it fitting to release these special songs on vinyl. Like we said these songs are very special to us, so it's really rewarding to have them pressed on vinyl like our other songs.
